You’ve put a lot of effort into your copy or manuscript. A trained copyeditor and proofreader like me helps ensure the final product doesn’t unnecessarily detract from the quality of your work or the intended message.

I’m an Intermediate member of the Chartered Institute of Copyediting and Proofreading (CIEP). That means I’ve completed foundational training designed to build the skills and the tools needed to perform to a high standard the disciplined, careful work of copyediting and proofreading. It also means that I follow a professional Code of Practice. My clients can be confident that I will adhere to best practices developed over time by a community of editing professionals.

I’m a CIEP-trained copyeditor and proofreader. I have decades of experience as a copywriter, freelance writer and as a legal practitioner. I have been an editor of a law review journal. I offer copyediting and proofreading services, with special emphasis on on texts, publications and manuscripts in English as a second language. Having lived and worked in the U.K. and the U.S. I am particularly able to work in/with both idioms.
